If you are actually reading this...

...then I commend you highly as it is more then I can say for myself. Mom kindly reminded me today that we do indeed have a blog, we recently sent out Christmas cards informing all of our friends and family of its existence, and that I haven't updated it in twenty-one days (yikes! Has it really been that long?). We've all been up to so much that our poor blog was thrown in the the back seat.

Which of course would beg the question....What have we been up to?

...and then falling over and being at the mercy of cruel siblings who find it far too amusing to even think of helping you out and who just so happen to have a camera.

....(but of course you realize that the frosting is the best part and if you're smart, you'll scrap the whole "frosting the cookies" idea and simply eat the frosting. There was never any thing stating that the cookies had to be frosted in Santa's contract, it just said cookies.)

Celebrating a birthday Which leads to another issue...the fact that I forgot to do a post for Mom's Birthday. Please forgive me, but Mom refused to to let me put up any of the pictures we have of her. I had great intentions of getting some to post at a New Year's Eve -with a Birthday thrown in- party but a certain (absent-minded) person (ahem) forgot the camera. The same person that has neglected the blog for so long. So just consider this a Birthday post as well. We Love You Mom!!!

Rolling the van up our driveway/ice-rink with a handful of rocks!!!



Really, it works quite well. You simply make Nick and Jenna get out of the van (while you get out to get the camera) and get a handful of rocks and dump them in front of the wheel. Tell Mom to go forward, and after she's gone forward about a foot Nick and Jenna run up and get the rocks out from behind the wheel and move them in front again. Repeat until you've reached your destination (in our case the garage).

So you see, we have, in true Wade fashion, been up to everything but blogging.
